It would seem very unlikely that your Catherine is the daughter of Henry Stainbrook. His children by both Polly Livermore and Emeline Livermore Cutshall are well documented through the wills of Henry and his father Jacob (including my great-great-grandmother, Elizabeth
Stainbrook). Emeline Cutshall did not leave her husband until about 1834, taking her youngest child (Henry Cutshall) with her.

As you know, there are innumerable branches of this family, and most of them share the same names, which makes sorting them out rather difficult.

One odd thought - did Catherine ever go by any other name? Middle name, perhaps? Will keep you in mind if I ever run across any good possibilities.
