Margaret M. Collins Stainbrook, 80
ZANESVILLE - Margaret M. Collins Stainbrook, 80, of Zanesville, died at 5:10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007, at Genesis Extended Care and Rehab Center.
She was born March 24, 1927, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Cecil and Mary Roberts Collins. She was a past regent and a member of the Muskingum Chapter of DAR, a member of the Susan Fuller White Chapter Colonial Dames of the 17th Century, Daughters of 1812, life member of VFW George Selsam Post 1058 Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Unit 29 Ladies Auxiliary and a teacher and principal for Zanesville City Schools.
Surviving are a daughter, Ginger (Paul) Rutter of Zanesville; a brother, Cecil (Nancy) Collins of Zanesville; and a grandson, Cory Richard Stainbrook of South Zanesville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Richard Stainbrook, who died July 29, 2000; a son, Jeffrey Richard Stainbrook; and a sister, Carol Smitley.
Calling hours will begin at 11 a.m. with funeral services at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave. The Rev. Joy French will officiate. Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
