Mary Stains is the mother of Isaac L Stains (1863-MO)
His dad was John Stains (1836-PA)He died in 1869-MO) in the Civil War. She remarried a John Doty. In the meantime, she went to live with her Mom and Dad (Thomas (1810) and Eleanor Stains. Sabret is her brother. (1850 census). 1870 Census shows Thomas Isaac and Julia living with Sabret and Nancy after she married Doty. She took Laura, her daughter with her.
If you have any other info on Isaac, please let me know. I have him on my grandmother's death certificate as her dad, married to Josephine Perkins.
