While looking for something completely different in the 1891 Ontario (Canada) census for Penetanguishene, I came across the entry for William Stalker age 44, parents born in Scotland, married to Sarah age 40 born West Indies father born England mother born Ireland. 7 Children Malcolm (13), Robert (11), Emily (9), Janet (7), William (5), Mary (2) and George (7/12). Hope this is of use to someone.
