I too, have John Stalker in a branch. He was the son of James and Jeanette Cameron Stalker of Dundee, Scotland. John b. 1800 served in the British army at Waterloo and emigrated to Can. He taught in Halton Co. Ont., m. Debbie Askin in 1834. One of their 6 children, Elisabeth Stalker m. William Colter/Coulter in 1865 and they had 7 children. It's the Coulter line I'm tracking.
