Hi Ivah, What I have is from the Commerative Biographical Record of Lambton Co. of Wm. Colter (Coulter) who married Elisabeth Stalker. Wm.was my 2X great uncle. Other than my previous post, there is little on the Askin line except that Debbie A. married in Jan 1834, she d. 1868. John Stalker taught school in Halton Co. until 1847, when he received a soldier's grant for 100 acres in Warwick Twp. He was an assessor for several terms and helped found the first church in Warwaick Twp. Presbyterian. 6 Stalker children: Debbie, Mathilda d. early womanhood, Jane Ann m. John McDonald of Petrolia (oil producer), James b. 1836 farmer in Ogle Co. IL m. Mary McChesney of Adelaide , John b. 1841 and Elisabeth. Hope this helps some. Lynn
