Stalker family from Scotland to Canada/Ohio/ and?

My great great grandmother was Catherine Stalker born May 8, 1827 to Master Mariner Peter Stalker and Margaret Tosh. They had two other sons named Peter Stalker born 1821 and John Gifford Stalker born 1825.

My Catherine met and married Daniel McKenzie and I have posted their names under the McKenzie sight. They came to Georgetown, Onterio about 1855/56 and from there traveled to Michigan, Illinois, Kansas, Idaho, and Washington. Her husband Daniel died in the Hutchinson, Kansas area in 1884 and she later married Dougal McArthur and then William Scott. She is buried in Idaho under Scott and she died Jan. 19,1916.

Since then I have discovered that her brother John Gifford Stalker who also became a Mariner came to the USA. I have found his widow Janet Stalker with her daughter Margaret in the Put-in-Bay, Ottowa County, Ohio area. She married Robert Shortliff and lived out her life there. I know she had brothers and sisters named Jane born 1855 who married a Charles Gilman and lived in Elgin County, Onterio, Canada; a sister named Catherine, a brother named Peter born 1861, and a brother named William Moodie Stalker born 1865.

Would like to find anyone who may be connected or have information to share on this family. Looking forward to hearing from you, Richelle Buckles
