Hi from LEWIS WILLIAM STALLMAN(N) in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Interesting to note the spelling of "LEWIS" and not "LOUIS" ...I don't know why I was named "LEWIS" other than the fact the my father, LEWIS J. STALLMANN was named Lewis & spelled that way.
I have not been able to itendify any ancestors other than my grandfather, JAKOB STALLMANN who left Germany with his brother, WILHELM STALLMANN around the 1880's to escape from being drafted in the Kaiser's army. Jakob Stallmann was a brewmeister & died when my father was only 13 yrs old so very little was passed on regarding the STALLMANN family in or around Worms, Germany.
