New information...
Hi,
I am searching for a family that has disappeared after 1900 census was taken. The William Stallman in my other post is not S/O David & Sarah Stahlman. Changed surname to Stallman. Marr. Sidney Elizabeth Shoop...
He is the son of Peter Stallman and Jane Holbert..
Holly Dist, Webster Co., WV., 1900 census
William Stallman b. Feb 1842 in WV. father in Holland and mother in Maryland.
Mary A. Stallman b. Apr 1851 in Va. father NC mother in Va.
William B. Stallman b.July 1892 WV.
Sarah J. Phares b. June 1879 WV.
Esa G. Phares b. March 1884 WV.
Amanda A. Phares B. Sept 1889
last 3 all marked as step child but William is not.
Full name of son is William Beverly Stallman..(***William B's middle name is Beverly and William the father (a friend of mine is guessing at this) was captured at Beverly, WV, in the Civil War. Coincidence?
William B. might have married a Edna M. "?"Stallman..
She is listed on his service card as a contact.
Any information on this family Please contact me.
Thanks
Sherry
