I, too, have been looking for info regarding Lewis Stallman. I know he was one of the first settlers in 1808 on Leading Creek in (West) Virginia, that his children were Philip, Peter, Mary, Catherine, and Henry, that his will is dated 3 Sep 1822 and that he died that year. Family lore says he was a Hessian soldier in the Revolutionary War, but this is unconfirmed. What do you have?
