Dear Carter:

Yes, I am somewhat familiar with the Stallmann family that you are attempting to find.

My wife Susan Clare Portsche who passed away in 1996, did quite a bit of research on her grandmother's family. Her grandmother was Elizabeth Stallmann, daughter of Berhard Stallmann, who came out of Kentucky in about 1879 or 1800, and settled in Wein, Missouri.

I would have to look at my wife's documentation to be sure, but memory tells me that this Stallmann lived in Eagle Grove, Iowa, and died as a result of being kicked by a horse. Does this ring a bell?

I know this is the person/family you are looking for, and would like to hear from you and share any information.

Thanks for posting your message.
