Yes, I have been in touch with Ray Grove. He told me that while there are baptismal records for Johann Jacob Stambach's children, there is no baptismal record for a daughter named Magdalena. He did not mention any primary source that identified Magdalena as a daughter of Johann Jacob, even though Elizabeth can be positively identified as Johann Jacob's daughter. That being the case, I cannot accept the tie between Magdalena and Johann Jacob as having been proven. It's possible that it's correct. But before it can be stated as proven, smoe type of primary source, such as an estate record, a will, or a deed has to be found that proves it.
