I am looking for information and descendants of George STAMBAUGH/STUMBAUGH/STAIMBACK/STAMBACK/STOMBOCK/etc. who was purchased land in Champaign Co. OH in 1834. He was in the 1840 census in Auglaize Township, Allen Co., OH. I believe he may be the George from Virginia that I am looking for.

In the 1850 census there were Jacob, John and Samuel in Allen Co., Jackson Twp. Could they be descendants of George?

Would love to hear from any folks researching same.
