Dear Peggy: I just found your reply & would like to write to you. The part of Botetourt Co. Philip lived in became Roanoke County & I think it is near Mt.Pleasant School & church (2 1/2 miles away) where about 4 generations of my mother's Hogan family attended. Philip d. around 1851 Roanoke County date & grave unknown. Land sold to Edington family & "Stanback land" reference mentioned in one of early 1900 church deeds. I have copies of early Botetourt records beginning with Philip&Priscilla Pratt record of marriage 1786. Do you know who Philip's parents were or parents of Priscilla Pratt? The Roanokers used both Stanback & Stamback spelling & the last one I know & talked to died last year. Pratt is also a name used close to where I live. New e-mail Darlene
