Philipp Stambaugh's wife was Magdalena Shockey, daughter of Christopher and Barbara [?] Shockey. The land Philipp purchased was from his father in law.

Have you checked Columbiana County, Ohio for George? A large group of families from Washington County, MD. ended up there after the land sales started in 1803.
