Connie, it seems we are both 8th generation descendants of
the immigrant ,Werner Stamm. My line also comes down through Werner's son Frederick Stamm born 1759 who marries
Maria M Lerch. Where your line comes down through Frederick's son Johannes Stamm, my line comes down through
Frederick's son, Federick Stamm, Jr b. 1790 who marries
Susanna Gerhart. One of their 13 children was William
Stamm b.1815, my gr-great grandfather. William married
M. Magdalena Schneider. They had 11 children including my gr-grandmother, Rebecca born 1854. Rebecca married William Lengel, they had 5 children, the oldest one being
my grandmother, Clara Lengel, born 1871. Clara married
John Scharff. They had 5 children including my mother, Sallie A Scharff who was born in 1892. Sallie married
John O Moyer Sr. I am the youngest of their 4 children
John O Moyer, Jr., born April 24, 1933.
I added the info on your ancestry as you listed in Post #331. I will be adding any additional info you can send me to the 1300 plus names I have as Werner Stamm's descendants, and spouses of descendants.

Most of my line of the Stamm Family seems to have stayed right here in Western Berks County, PA, not far from where it is believed that Werner settled.

I will be contacting you via e-mail with more information
and hopefully we can share some more data and trivia about
our Stamm ancestry. Thank you, John O Moyer, Robesonia,
Berks County, PA
