Robert, I'm not sure if you received my private e-mail to you thanking you for responding to my post concerning my family connection. In the event that you did not receive the same, I am taking the liberty of reposting it here:
Thank you so very, very much for your kind efforts of locating information on my Stancliff line. I've looked at your page time and again and didn't see this particular portion. Is that because a hyper-link was necessary? Regardless, you and your wife are God-sent for assisting so many of us with our heritage.
BTW.....I found that Frank M. Stancliff was my grandfather by a new found cousin who shares the same grandparents. My grandmother, Thelma Frock, married Frank M. Stancliff and divorced him. This cousin is in receipt of the divorce paper as well as Frank's death certificate and other family memorbilia. I'd always thought my grandfather's name was Emory. The name Emory is that of my grandmother's father.....Emory Frock.
I accessed Frank M. Stancliff's family through GenForum......I think. Or was it Ancestry.com. One of those......for sure! And several distant cousins who share the same line post to the forum. I'm estatic to have finally found a breakthrough.
Thanks again for all of your help. I'm sure that our paths will cross again.
Jille Stancliff Parlett
