Hello, I am searching for information about my gggg grandfather, the Rev. John Stancliff, and his wife, my gggg grandmother, Sarah Parker, who were married in Philadelphia. Later they moved to Cape May, NJ. We have the old family Bible that belonged to them (printed 1786 in England.) There is some information written inside, but no clue as to the origins of Sarah Parker. My family is descended from their daughter Hannah Stancliff, who married ____ Zane. Their son William Parker Zane married Mary Ault, whose daughter Katherine married Harry Gamewell (Gamwell?). Their son Stanley Parker Gamewell married Alice Burger and were the parents of my dad, Stanley Parker Gamwell, Jr.
Any information regarding the Stancliffs, the Parkers, the Zanes, the Aults, the Gam(e)wells or the Burgers will be deeply appreciated!
