I believe that would be William Price Standefer, son of Luke Standefer, and brother to my Elizabeth Standefer. Elizabeth married her first cousin Isaac Standefer 16 Oct 1822 in Monroe Co, MS. Aberdeen is in Monroe Co.

Luke Standefer died in Monroe Co, MS and his will was probated March 1834. His son William Price Standefer, and widow Mary Ann (Price) Standefer administrated that estate.

Some of the surnames of spouses to children of Luke Standefer were Campbell, Gideon, Waid/Wade, White, McKinney and Burdine. Do any of those names show up anywhere in your records?

The Standefers were very clanish and always traveled with at least shirt tail kin. Everyone I've had contact with has some Standefer cousins marrying cousins. I know all this happened in the early days, but I've never seen it so prevelant as in the Standefer lines.
