Hi Lisa, I have a Wm. Standifer, married to a Mary Elizabeth. They had 13 kids,they moved to yellow creek, Mo. in 1951. He served in the 7th Mo. calvary for the Union in the civil war, he was discharged as a sergent at Prairee Grove, Ark and he received $100 because he furnished his own horse. They moved to Oklahoma around 1889-1891. In what is now Noble, he donated some land for a grave yard by the house he had built for Elizabeth. The house is still standing.
