Missing a sibling in your tree from TN?

Someone's line is missing a son named Mr. ??? Standefer born ca. 1800 possibly who lived in the Sequatchie Valley area in TN and married a Jennie Burgess circa 1826. He died (?) by 1830 and that is why I am sure he is lost in his relationship to his family tree. He did have one son to carry on the name, William Riley Standefer born ca 1827. His wife remarried a Gholson/Golson from the same area and had a child in Sept. of 1830. One clue recently given to me is this: The families of Dack, Standefer, Gholson (from England) along with Trowsetter (from Germany) all came together by ship to America. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I could use some clues. Is anyone missing a Standefer sibling born ca 1800-1805 most possibly in TN? Is he from the Louis Standefer group?
