Thanks for remembering me. I have revisited your prior email about Sarah Wyatt who married a Standing, since I received an email from Jacob Bateman. I have three Sarah Standings in my early Standings, as follows: Starting with Edward Standing (d 1718), he was married to Sarah. He received a land grant in 1712 of 2,000 acres which extended from Chowan River to Hertford River in both Chowan Co. and Perquimans Co. and Hertford areas called Phelps Point at that time. N.C. History of Genealofgy Register 1900 Vols. 1-2-3 by J.R.B. hathaway of Edenton, N.C. "My mother's grandparents names were given her by Great Aunt Sallie Sutton and some of the dates were in my grandmothers Bible." Will Recorded 1721 (not sure who the quote was from - might be in those notes I referred to - any idea who Sallie Sutton was?). Edward and Sarah had five kids - Samuel, William (m. Mary), Edward, Sarah, John. Samuel married another Sarah, and their children were Samuel (b. 25 Jun 1736, m. Anne Garres 17 Feb 1758, Perquimans Co., NC), Mary (b. 1738, m. Thomas Bonner 1752 Chowan Co.), William (25 Jul 1743 - 1815), Edward (b. 25 Jul 1743), and Penelope (b. 19 Dec 1747). So I would guess that your Sarah Wyatt Standing might have been one of these Sarah Standings. If you have any other info, I would welcome it. jay
