I'm looking for information on William Standing, born 1840 in Folkstone, England. Married Elizabeth Chadwick. Their son William Standing married Isabella Lilley in 1893 in West Hartlepool,Durhan County, England. Their children were Eliza, Lilley, John, Edith, Alfred, Edwin, Winifred, and James. Edwin Standing is my grandfather. Most of the younger children followed the parents to America in the 1920's, but some of them stayed behind, including John (Jack). Does anyone have info on this branch?
