My great grandmother was Amanda Eliza Standin Scrape her father was John W. Standin he was from North Carolina he married Rosaland Pettier of Virgina they were married in Halifax County North Carolina 25 Jan 1829, John and Rosey are found living in Tishomingo County, Mississippi in 1850 and 1860 census. I would like to share my information with any one who can help me. Standin is a hard name to trace much like Scrape, please contact me at mscrape@centurytel.net Thanks Michael
