There was a general store by the name of "Standing and Sayers" in Crawley,Sussex in 1860's. It was formerly owned by a relative John Cheal and known as "Cheal and Co". It was next to the Ancient Priors that was eventually taken over by Kinghams the Grocers between the world wars. Anyone have any info on which Standing owned it?
