Have been reading some of your messages & see by your email address that you live in NZ.
I'm hoping you may be able to help me. I too am in NZ, Auckland, actually.
My Maternal Grandmother is Ethel Standing & she was born approx 1887 in Rogate, England. Her first marriage was to a Mr Berriff, but I dont know when or where they got married. She had a daughter, Dorothy, born approx 1913.
After Ethel's husband died, she married my Grandfather, Robert Kean Greig who was born in Dundee, Scotland. They married here in Auckland, & my mother Barbara Claire Greig was born in Nov, 1929. Both my mother & Dorothy have passed on so, at this point, I havent established who her parents were or whether she had any brothers or sisters.
Would my grandmother fit into your family line?
