The Australian family of John and Charlotte Pendlebury, married in Manchester Collegiate Church 15/9/1833, sailed to South Australia in 1849 are trying to find links to family members. There was a John Pendlebury who died aged 31 in Victoria, Australia in 1865, parents James and Nancy (nee Standing) place of birth Manchester.
My grandfather's given names contain STANDING and we are trying to find where that came from, any help gratefully received.
