Thanks for the info. I am not aware of any links with the Pendlebury family, nor do I have a Nancy Standing in my Tree but I am sure that your Nancy Standing and my Standing family must be related somehow if they both emmigrated from England to the same area of Australia. Do you have any more info on Nancy? I have guessed she might be my Henry Standings sister? He was born about 1813 in Middlesex, England to William Standen and Hannah Fletcher, the dates seem about right. It is possible that my Henry moved out to Australia to be with his sister and her family.
My Baker family aren't closely connected with the Standings, Elizabeth Standings son Edward Wycherley married Hannah Baker in Liverpool in 1913.
I would really appreciate any other information you have on Standings in that area.
