I'm not 100% sure, but I think I'm a descendant of John (Jack) Standing. My grandfathers full name was John Godley Standing but he was known as Jack. Jack married Violet Doris Gregory (not sure of dates) and they had a son John, on Jan 29 1934 - my father. My father came to Australia (1950ish), married Margaret Webb (1966) and had two daughters -Judith (1968) and Rosemaree (1970). I have a great Aunt Winifred who resides in Canada.
