Rick, I think you and I may be cousins. My dad is Howard Stanfill. His father was Thomas B. Stanfill, born September 8, 1887 in Washington County, Arkansas. Okay, here's where it may get confusing...His father(?) was S.S. Stanfill, born April 19, 1858 in Campbell County, Tennessee. He died on January 12, 1891 in Dayton, Wa. S.S. Stanfill's parents were possibly born in England.

My parents gave me a name of Joe Stanfill as (I think) one of my dad's uncles. If he is and you are related, could you possibly send me any information about the family as we've been trying to find out any and all information to create a genealogy book and have been pretty much spinning out wheels on this matter.

Sincerely yours,
Denice (Stanfill) Lewis
