I should have mentioned that I know where she is and what school she goes to. Actually, the post is for her. This will give her the opportunity, if she's ever curious and not scared, to contact myself and/or her 24 year old Aunt Jennifer as her Father (my son, Jerry Stanfill) and his wife(Renee DiCarlo) chose to make the decision for her when she was 4 years old because I married a black man. I contacted an attorney several years ago, but Michigan has no law allowing visitation rights for grandparents. We were instructed by their attorney to not send cards, gifts or try to see her or we would be arrested for harrassement.
