I am interested in contact with researchers or descendants of Libeus /Libbeus STANNARD who was born in Vermont, lived at Madison County, New York, served in the War of 1812, and who removed to Clarion Township, Bureau County, Illinois.

Libeus STANNARD was married to (1) Luceba FAY, born CT, probably shortly after the end of the War of 1812, and (2) Sarah BELLOWS. Luceba FAY and a young child died on 3 January 1842 at Perkins Grove, Bureau County, Illinois, and Libeus STANNARD married Sarah BELLOWS on 4 July 1842 at Bureau County.

Libeus STANNARD had twelve children with Luceba FAY. It is unknown if he had any children in his second marriage.

Libeus STANNARD died in October 1858 or October 1859 at Illinois.
