Stanphill andChoctaw Wives

I have been researching the Stanphill family of Ms. and Alabama. There are many Stanphill family that claimed Choctaw and were accepted on the Dawes Roll and many that stayed in Ms/Al and were rejected from the rolls because they did not remove from the area to Oklahoma. My line is William Gother Stanphill and his second wife Nancy Swain. There is a Nancy Swain listed on the Dawes Rolls as Cherokee. Her parents were Daniel Swain and Cressa Hewitt.
I was just wondering if William's second wife was also Native American.
Also would be interested in knowing about the Stanphill family members that were rejected and stayed in MS/AL. My great grandmother was Margie Stanphill daughter of William G. and Nancy Swain. Margie married William Wallace Morrow. They lived in Red Bay, Alabama.
Thank you.
