Hello Descendants of Vinson Stanphill Did you ever want to throw your computer as far away as you could?? Well obviously I didn't but I sure wanted to. I lost my Vinson Stanphill datatase of about 3000 individuals. Due to the city sewer backup in our basement, I had to have all my genealogy data boxed up. I lost some of my backup disks because of this. I was lucky that none of my typed family sheets had been destroyed. So I can now start typing all the data into my new Vinson Stanphill database. Enough said about that. Evelyn Hartley, whose first genealogy letter to me was dated May 5, 1979, has generously sent me a gedcom which was enable me to more quickly re-establish a Vinson database. At the same time I will call Helen Roberts and get permission to include some of her Stanphills in an autographed copy of her book that I have. I'm hoping any of my new friends and relatives (Vinson's descendants), will send me their data so that I might include that as well. Even though I'm not a descendant of Vinson's, it has been a pleasure helping about 600+ famlies these past 30 years to establish their family tree. With their help and that of my wife, I believe that I can rough out a database for Vinson Stanphill fairly soon. Which I'm very much excited and interested to do. If you are interested in this and or talking to me about this, please e-mail or write to me. I can give you my phone number then, if you are interested in talking over the phone. My addresses are: Stewart Stanphill PO Box 150 Kelso, Washington 98626 sstanphill@junolcom
