Hi Carol,

James Harvey is an ancestor of mine, my fourth or fifth great grandfather, I believe. I know he fought for North Carolina, but do you know the regiment or his commander or unit? I found him listed in the index of Revolutionary War pensions with a number but I'm not sure how to go about requesting his paperwork from the National Archives. Could you please help? He, so far, is the only Revolutionary patriot I have found in my lineages and I'm very excited to find more on him. Thanks.
