Robert: Your message brought back lots of memories about your grandfather Dock L Stanphill and his family. I'm looking at a newspaper article about their 5oth wedding anniversary, and my invitation to that affair. I didn't make it. I really tried to go. I use to write to several of the family members. I first wrote to Dock the March of 1972, I've been working with Mary Lu Johnson about trying to create a family tree of all the Stanphill and tie them into the Stanfield.
Couple of years ago I lost my Vinson database from my computer. I never could retrive it. Ellen Bost and Evelyn Hartley have sent me gedcom so I can build up my database. I now have about 3500 names in "our" new database. I also sent to Helen Roert all my information when she was working on book. Now, If I can help you, I will.
