Charles O. Stansbury, age 17 on the 1850 Census, is Charles Horatio Stansbury, son of Charles M. Stansbury and Mary Meche. Charles Horatio Stansbury was sometimes called Horatio. He married Emeline Campbell in 1866 in Terrebonne Parish. Emeline was first married to Albert Stansbury. (Note that she and Albert are listed on the 1850 Census of LA.) She and Albert had two children, Alfred and Mary A. After Albert's death, Emeline married Andrew Stansbury, brother of Charles Horatio Stansbury. Andrew died during the Civil War in Vickburg. In summary, Emeline was married to three different STANSBURY men!
Emeline Campbell was the daughter of Samuel W. Campbell and Adelaide Charet.
