Don't know if you've read my other msgs, but I'm intrigued by "Campbell" because MY father's name was Camie, HIS father's name was Camie, and HIS father's name was Camie. I've seen various spelling of the name, from Camel, Camul, Camuel. I'd always been told Camie was an old family name, and I'd thought that it may have been Samuel and someone couldn't spell and did so phonetically, giving the S the C sound. Now I wonder if it wasn't Campbell, and with their pronunciation it came out Camel...

I do want to get up with you because I know nothing of my family. I just decided to check my e-mails and found you had responded to my message. Let me know what your e-mail address is....mine is

THANK you,
Diane Stansbury Stough
