C.H. Stansbury apparently married Fannie Gwin sometime after 1870. The 1880 Gordon Co., GA (Sugar Valley) has Fannie as head of the HH and has the Stansbury kids as step-children except the last, a daughter and listed as daughter. Then John Gwin, son, listed last in HH. Fannie is listed as widowed. I found somewhere that Fannie died 1902. She was living with John Gwin in 1900 in Sugar Valley. The daughter of C. H. and Fannie was born in Alabama. So, I'm guessing they were married in Alabama.

My GGM was Olivia Stansbury, daughter of C. H. and Nancy Large. She married J. T. Baugh in Gordon County and the family moved to Lindale, Floyd County, GA after 1900 and before 1904.

I live in Rome, GA. If I can be of any help, let me know.
