Susan: Somewhere we MUST hookup as my father is in the C H Stansbury line. There were a number of CH Stansburys. My Father, gf and ggf were all CH's.
My dad's name was Camie Hass Stansbury, my gf went by CH Stansbury, he died in a coal mine explosion on 5/5/05 in Palos, AL, I was given to understand his name was Camie Hass, and my ggf was CH Stansbury, that is the only name reference I could find in family papers. I was told my Dad's name was an old family name so I assume the ggf CH was also Camie Hass, but have come to find out it was Campbell Harrison. My gf was (supposedly) born in Gadsden, AL, but married Yotie Irene DeFoor of Sugar Valley, GA (The DeFoors hook up to the Waldrup line).

My gf is buried in a community cemetary near Palos, AL along with several brothers, Dave, Jim, and another one whose name I don't recall immediately.

I will look up the name of a woman who still lives in Sugar Valley who apparently has quite a bit of info on the Stansburys and DeFoors.

Diane
