I suspect that Elisha STANSBURY who died on 12/23/1869 was the one who died of consumption at age 47 in Brooke Co., WV. Previously, a reference stated that his death was recorded in a Mortality Schedule. I now suspect that it was the 1870 schedule, and that Elisha was born c. 1822 or 1823. Could he have been a son of Nicholas STANSBURY who married in March 1823? I cannot verify that Nicholas had a son named Elisha because I have not seen his will, which was proven on 2/12/1877. (Do you know the date it was made?)
