Hi, Richard et al

I am from Detmar>Tobias>Samuel>Samuel>Luke>Solomon>Amanda J m. Martin Van Buren King >William King>Harry King>William King

Back in 1948 when I started at UofT at Knoxville there was a discussion within members of the King family regarding the property on which John Hopkins now stands. One group
of the family wanted to pursue a lawsuit with John Hopkins, but my father explained to them that a suit had been settled in the 1920's and there was no point in pursuing the matter for a settlement had already been made during that time.

I can't offer you any more than the remembrance of that discussion except to say that knowing my father, he probably would have invested in a suit of that kind if it had been worth while. I imagine that there would be court records in Baltimore to prove or disprove the event of such a lawsuit.

I hope that these thoughts are of value to you all.

Take care.. and God Bless America and those who made it what is for all of us. Bill King
