Hi Felicia,
Albert Stansbury Jr. and Florestine Feray were my Grandmother's grandparents. I have some information on both that I will be happy to share with you. Florestine Feray's father was a captain for the Confederate States of America during the Civil War. He was originally from France.

I have a book, "History of Vermilion Parish, Louisiana" which was published in 1983 by the Vermilion Historical Society. This book has an artical on Captain Feray and also an article on Albert Stansbury, Jr.

I have more information on Albert's great grandmother, Sarah Gorsuch, which goes back to William the Conquorer.

Send your request to me at and be sure to reference the Stansbury Family in the subject. I can send you a lot of information.
