ANNA ELIZABETH STANSBERRY was born in Howard County, Kansas, on June l5, l872, and died June 22, l9l7, aged 45 years and 7 days. Her mother died when she was six years old. Her father took care of her until December 25, l888, when she was married to J.A. SCOTT, in Oakley, Kansas. To this union were born six children, three boys and three girls: MRS. SADA PEALE, MRS. ETHEL SNYDER, ANDREW F., ROSCOE A., EVERETT and LILLIAN, all of whom are still living. Her father died about eleven years ago.

She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, six children, five brothers, C.S. STANSBURY, of Oakley, Kans., D.A. STANSBURY, of Orion, Kans., J.B. STANSBURY, of Crowley, Colo., A.T. STANSBURY, of Crowley, Colo., and C.H. STANSBURY, of Nepesta, Colo., besides a host of other relatives and friends. She was a member of the Brethren Church in which faith she died. Services were held at the Brethren Church, by G.T. Ronk. Interment at Leon Cemetery.
