Census info for Summerfield Stansbury & family. Summerfield was the son of Albert Stansbury & the great grandson of Charles Gorsuch Stansbury.

1850 Vermilion Census: (Louisiana)
Widow of Albert Stansbury, 44 $500 (Maryland)
Summerfield Stansbury, 15 (La.)
Uriah, 14
Susan 12
Robert 10
Elisa 5
Albert 3
Widow, Susan Smith, 39
Robert Smith, 11
Thomas Smith
******************************

The Widow, Susan Smith listed above, I believe is the sister to Eliza (Dugan) Stansbury, a widow of Albert Stansbury.
I think she was married to a Dr. L J Smith and he died before the 1850 census. She remarries to a William Laffler (Lafluer?) from Germany that is younger than her.
By the 1880 census she is living with her niece, Susan (Stansbury) Davidson in Iberia, LA. Her name is listed as Dougan Laffler, for some reason listing her maiden name as a first name.
Does anyone have any information on her?
