Have you ever seen or heard anything about a Phebe Stansbury in Morris Co. NJ? She is supposed to have married Amos Kilburn ca 1730's and lived in NJ until they moved to NC ca 1770. Amos is on the 1771 and 1772 tax lists for Surry Co. NC.

The Kilburns are mixed in with the Mahurin and Allen familes from NJ. They also appear in Wilkes Co. NC together in the 1780's. Last document for Amos is the 1790 Willkes Co. NC census.
