I have not had much luck, even after hiring a researcher from Ancestry. Last place I can find William Henry Stansbury is in Adams County, IL where he lived prior to moving to WI and I had that info prior to the researchers help. I think the next step for me would be looking for land records but I have no experience in that area. He is listed as a land owner on the 1850 Town of Richfield, Adams County, IL census. Hope you have been more susccessful.
