William G Stansbury (b abt 1824 - died after June 1880) who married Mary Busby did not marry anyone else after Mary died following childbirth of son Charles. William and Mary had several children: Alice V (who married Jacob Albaugh); Sarah (who died before 1860), Laura (who married Alfred B Clatchey), William Anna who married James Leake, and Charles, who died early.

Following Mary's death, her mother, Catherine, resided with the family (1850, with William, Mary, Alice, and Sarah), in 1860 with William, Laura, Alice, William Anna, and Charles; in 1870 with William, laura, and William Anna; and in 1880 with Alice and her husband Jacob.

William is living with his daughter Laura and husband Alfred Clatchey in the 1880 census in Baltimore.

I following the Ellen Stonesifer line, just to be sure; she is living as a widow in the 1870 census with her brother, and father and mother, as Ellen Stansbury, with two children, Mary A and William E.

Since the 1870 census William is clearly with his mother in law, catherine busby, there is no connection with the stonesifer.
