Cyril Starbuck (Warren Co., Iowa), son of George son of Gayer

Hello --

I am trying to track down the ancestry of my great-uncle Harold Starbuck (deceased professor emeritus of speech pathology at SUNY Geneseo). He was born in Colorado in 1919, and I've found possible info about his father.

Harold's father: Cyril Starbuck (b. Jun 21, 1881; Otter Township, Warren Co., Iowa; d. October 25, 1955). Cyril married Katherine Hanora Hansen.

I am also trying to document Cyril's father. I am lead to believe that his father was: George H. Starbuck (b. 1854; Hamilton Co., Indiana). George married Emma May Lincoln (Feb. 10, 1878 in Warren Co., Iowa).

There seems to be good information that has George's father as Gayer Starbuck (b. Jun 10, 1829; Clinton Co., Ohio). This Gayer's father was Moses Starbuck (b. Jun 18, 1804; Guilford Co., NC), who hooks into the Starbucks of North Carolina, back to Nantucket, and ultimately to Edward Starbuck (b. 1584; Leicester, Derby, England).

Any links to my Iowa info?

Thanks,
Mike Maxwell
