I took the Nantucket trip in August (2005). My mom was a Starbuck and it was so neat to feel the energy of the place where my Grandfathers dwelt. I found several Starbuck-related books in the Nantucket library. The most helpful was "Starbucks All (1635-1985" by James Carlton Starbuck. I was able to trace back from my mom all the way to Edward Starbuck (1635). Now I want to do more research about who these people were and how they lived. And why my great-great Grandfather, George Starbuck, moved from Nantucket to Guilford County, North Carolina and, eventually, to Salem, Indiana where my great Grandfather, Millard Fillmore Starbuck, was born. Millard eventually moved with his family (including my Grandfather, Herbert) to Colorado where I continue to reside.
